Here we've got the guts of the critter. Digestive, respratory, circulatory, nervous, and reproductive systems of a naga. I tried to make this as accurate as can be given the circumstances but.. I had a ton of trouble trying to find the anatomy of a female snake. I guess, according to science, only male snakes exist. -.-;

NOTICE!!!: Due to the high volume of favorites this image gets, I won't be able to thank you all individually for your compliment. THANK YOU!!!

~*~*~*~*~ EDIT ~*~*~*~*~

If you don't know what a naga is, don't understand snake physiology or anatomy, or don't have anything meaningful to say or ask, I will henceforth ignore you outright. These questions can be answered by YOU with a little research.

Constructive criticism is encouraged. (If you don't know what that is GTFO of DA.)

Very awesome. I've seen all kinds of muscle structures and guts for the typical things like dragons and griffons, but never a naga. Figures that the texts would only have male snakes - I guess they're obsessed with those hemipenes...Seems like you spent less time on the brain and the head in general than the rest of it.

Yeah. I had all the parts from the shoulders down done and was like 'Yay! I'm done!' Then I realized the poor thing had no brain..

Well some naga can unhinge their jaws and in any case they all should eat quite a bit of food as they are rather large creatures. I also tried to line up the big gap in the hip/ribcage with the 'second' stomach because that's where most of the larger hunks of food could be stored without inhibiting movement.

The stippling on this is particularily impressive. I would recomend definatly lableling the organs. Probably with numbers and a key, so that the area around the organs doesn't get crowded.

Looks like you put a lot of thoughts into this. ^_^

Yeah. I figgured I'd just post an updated version later, putting a few details into the brain, labelling the organs. And your idea about a key is pretty good. I might go through with that. :)

The same as I said before with the skeletal system, it's really amazing how you managed to fit both human and snake systems together so well. Really great job. ^_^

Wow, it's like looking in a biology textbook, and that's a very good thing in this instance ;) Looks well thought out and nicely detailed :)
