After going through page after page of horrible gryphon anatomy I decided.. if you want something done right.. anyway. This is my result. All thicker bones are pneumatic and all larger bones are thin. A lot of space has been left externally over the keel and ribcage to allow for massive pectoral muscles used in flight. (this will pair up with the internal).
Zaaaaaa! Sugoi! It looks great. I love love love it! The thoughts on the rutter you mentioned earlier today were great. You really thought this through.
I realize birds, and probably griffins have air bladders, but I'm thinking the chest may need to be a bit deeper for larger lung and heart capacity- like greyhounds and thoroghbred horses.
If the griff should have a cat-like tail, the tail obviously should be longer.
The wing bones DEFINITELY need lengthened or there's just not going to be enough wing to get off the ground.
but overall... WOW! And the detail you put into it is just stunning! Must fave
